Summer rolls on as we hit the middle of June, and the digital comics revolution continues with victory for everyone.

In light of that, let’s take a tour of the Top 100 list and pick out a few gems to bring to your attention today.

Number 1 – Girl Genius, Volume Ten

Adventure, Romance, Mad Science! In a time when the Industrial Revolution has become an all-out war, Mad Science rules the World…with mixed success.

Until recently, Agatha Clay was an unlucky student at Transylvania Polygnostic University…but that was before she discovered that she was the lost heir to the famous Heterodyne family. Now she’s deep within the halls of the broken mechanical fortress that is her family’s castle, looking for a way to repair the castle defenses and save her friends before the inevitable attack comes from…well…everybody.

Number 3 – DEADLANDS: The Devil’s Six Gun

The year is 1879, but the history is not our own. The guns of the Civil War are silent in a tense cease-fire. California is shattered by the Great Quake Quake of ’68, a superfuel called ghost rock revealed in the new channels and cliff faces. Powerful Rail Barons strive to complete a transcontinental railroad, and the Great Rail Wars exact a bloody toll in the Union, the Confederacy, the Sioux Nation, the Mormon state of Deseret, and the Independent Commonwealth of California.

The Tombstone Epitaph has always been filled with lurid tales of daring desperadoes and deadly drifters, but lately the West’s most-read tabloid claims there’s something more sinister stalking the fronteir’s lonely plains: monsters! Fortunately, where there are monsters, there are heroes. Squinte-eyed gunfighters, card-chucking hexsligners, savage braves, and righteous padres have all answered the call. And if they fight hard enough, they might just discover the identity of the mysterious Reckoners some say are behind it all.

Visionary Comics and Pinnacle Entertainment present the first of four one-shots by industry superstars, bringing the weird Western world of DEADLANDS to comics! Number 21 – Revolution of the Mask #1

Revolution of the Mask, an exciting 12 issue maxi-series that returns superheroes to a unrecognizable Earth that discarded individuality.

After a Final War that decimated the planet, Earth’s population now exists as ‘The All.’ Individuality is irrelevant and everyone belongs to everyone else. However, a revolution is coming – not of murder and mayhem, but of capes and costumes. This is the Revolution of the Mask. This issue: Designation Gamma-117 knows there’s something wrong with the world, but only someone Wonderful can tell him what it is.

Number 32 – Archaeologists of Shadows Volume #1

In a world where every living thing is forced to become mechanical, the Authorities punish those who resist the transformation, although all wonder about the real reason for the changes.

Archeologists Of Shadows, Volume 1 The Resistance, is a Graphic Novel that has been in development for more than 4 years. It contains well over 100 pages of story and art that combines drawing, sculpture, photography, photo manipulation and digital painting with a 3D quality to it.

This edition includes the first 4 chapters of the story along with a full Art book documenting the making of Archeologists Of Shadows. Fans of the Matrix or Lord of the Rings will be captivated by this Sci-Fi Steampunk Fantasy.
