You may remember a few weeks ago I blogged about well-known Irish comics creator and supporter Tommie Kelly launching a new online comic series, The Holy Numbers, which follows the establishment of a spiritual movement by Dave (who decides he is now the embodiment of a more advanced dimensional spirit and renames himself Ravendale), which soon begins to spread through books and centres and media interests (see the review here). After his mysterious death the movement is run by other acolytes who may have less spiritually enlightened ideas about what they can use it for and some become concerned as the belief system begins to spread and gain influence. Tommie has now finished the first volume and he’s making the entire thing available to download as a PDF to read digitally in a block rather than strip by strip on the site – and, rather interestingly, like some other creators have tried before (notably some musicians), he hasn’t set a fixed payment for it but is asking readers to pay him an amount of their choosing. I’ve really been enjoying Holy Numbers so far, so if you download the PDF of the first volume, please do chuck a few shekels in Tommie’s direction.
