Review: Time Samplers #2

Hope fully coming soon to Comixology Submit, you can get Time Samplers here

The first issue was something different, so expect weirdness here.
I reviewed issue one, and I’m glad to see more of the same from #2. What we get is a multi parted story, with many different characters being brought in to each relevant point. The characters seem well thought out, with their own characteristics. I especially like the linking between them all. This story starts off well with some simple mind control and taking in some of the OWS issues which add to the conspiracy style story.
Add that to the Sci-Fi/Time travel elements and we get something new. It’s like mixing OWS with the X-Files and Quantum Leap. The various reactions of each character is well worked and there are some very definite plans for each characters story arc.
Thrown into the story are some excellent snippets of information from history – there’s some stuff that I knew, some that I thought I knew, and some things new thrown in here!
The art is well supported here, with some excellent large and small panels – it all fits in well to the story that’s being told here. Each character is distinguishable and there are some brilliant scenes.

It’s excellent to see such a dedicated team behind this – from what you can see in the levels of detail in the comic, and the add on games and information on the web site.
I’m looking forward to seeing what #3 throws us!
