WOWIO: War Fix, Avatar of the Futurians & Jetta/Shi

WOWIO have released some new series for your viewing pleasure….
War Fix

War can be addictive. So testifies journalist David Axe who’s been there, in the middle of the action in Iraq. The high is potent no matter how much you know how dangerous it is….

Here’s Axe’s journal of dealing with his addiction, the high, the sheer excitement of being in there, in the battle, the cost to his life, never mind the threat. A new form of visceral self-analyzing comics journalism starts with this book…An allegory for the US?

Avatar of the Futurians 01

Dave (X-men co-creator) Cockrum’s immortal characters live again in new stories by David Miller Studios! Super-powered immortal Andrew Pendragon gets top billing as Avatar of the Futurians! In this exciting series Avatar returns to his English home for a family funeral and encounters an ancient evil from his past. An evil that could consume all of Great Britain. If you’re a fan of Highlander, Harry Potter, King Arthur and, of course, The Futurians then this series is for you!

Jetta / Shi: Arrow of Destiny

It was Japan in 1582. Oda Nobunaga was a cruel and bloodthirsty warlord. In his efforts to unify Japan, he slaughtered thousands of innocent men, women, and children, even killing the Sohei warrior monks of the Hiei Monastery and killing the head of the Toshigawa clan. The evil Oda Nobunaga was killed by a poisoned arrow at Honno-Ji Temple, shot by Tokoshi Toshigawa. This sacred arrow has been protected through the ages as it holds the key to unlock great evil.

Fast forward to present day Japan. After years of undisturbed peace, an unknown evil threatens Honno-Ji again. Tenkai, a mysterious monk, must call on the help of a descendant of the Sohei (Shi) & the descendant of the Toshigawa (Jetta) to honor an age-old promise to protect the Arrow of Nobunaga.
