PSP Comics: Wonder Woman, Simon’s Cat & Twistory

PSP comics have released their latest list of comics available for the PSP.

Wonder Woman returns with four new comics this week, issues #1 to #4 of Wonder Woman Vol.3, otherwise known as the “Who is Wonder Woman?” story arc. Amazon warrior Diana is missing, leaving Donna Troy in charge of the Wonder Woman mantle. But what happens if Diana returns, and when you have two Wonder Women?

A bit of clever marketing here, as Wonder Woman has been in the news – what with her ‘new’ outfit and the possibility of a TV series!

We are also thrilled to introduce new publisher Twistory, who this week bring you three excellent new series: 13 Chambers, a beautifully illustrated fantasy/western series set in 1860s Far West; Dust, another little gem set in a WW2 gone wrong under the influence of new alien technology; and Dust Wars, sultry sci-fi with more of Paolo Parente’s beautiful art.

Always good to see new publishers adding their comics to the digital medium. I’ve heard good things about 13 Chambers and Dust Wars

We also have more Batman for you (#664 to #666, in other words Batman & Son #6 to #8), more Silent Hill with all four issues of Silent Hill: Sinner’s Reward, 1960s Iron Man with five issues of Iron Man (1968), and much more.

Batman #666 is brilliant and worth getting. I’ve got a print version somewhere!

And this week’s last surprise… Simon’s Cat is also making its debut on the PSN comics store*! Most of you will know this fantastic comic from its YouTube incarnation, lovingly animated around our autoflow feature.

(*Please note that this is only available in the UK, South Africa and Ireland.)

And coming from a different direction! Taking animation and using the flow of digital comics to adapt animation is a very interesting idea and would help bridge some links between the medium.
