Graphic.Ly have relached 1000 comics in their online & app store. their aim, was to not only provide comics over the digital medium, but to add a sense of community to it too! With the acquisition of iFanboy they added the community, and now seem well on the way to increasing the market share of digital comics distribution.
We had set a goal of October 1, and beat it by a day! Why are we so excited? Well, back in April when we launched, we had less than 50 books. In six months we added a…what’s the mathematical term?…oh yeah, a metric boat load. And we are not stopping there. We have 1,000s of books in our backlog from big publishers like Marvel to innovative publishers like Archaia and BOOM! Studios to independent publishers from all over the place!
We have more than 70 publishers on board, and are moving very close to 100. Whew! Lots and lots… 🙂
