Mobile Comics Year In Review: Disney

As we come towards the end of the year, I am going to be reflecting on the state of mobile comics and the changes we have had over the last twelve months. I will be looking at distributors, contributors and publishers.

Disney have a lot of power behind them, but don’t seem to be pushing their comics in such a way as they would a movie or the like.

their app is well designed and easy to navigate, but it just doesn’t seem to be marketed well enough to compete in such a strong market.

Maybe I’m wrong, I know that Disney Comics in print are very strong in Europe, and maybe this is where their attention lies, but surely, after merging with Marvel, they could get some pointers?
