Review: Box 13 Vol.2 #8 The Pandora Process

Box 13 takes a break in the heat of Dan’s running around to catch up with Olivia and the mysterious Klaus. Although the pace may have changed, the level of mystery hasn’t.. We learn more about Dan and the ‘Box 13’ process and David Gallaher neatly skips round any of the usual cold war references in the process. This may turn out to be a vital chapter in this series and well worth a read. Steve Ellis’s art is a joy to behold, leaping out of the screen in the vital parts, while still remaining dark to suit the writing.

Zuda may have started this process of digital comics series, but Box 13 has really defined the genre. To get this, and its previous volume, for free breaks all we may have thought about reading comics and the digital age.

I look forward to great things from this team in the new year!
