Review: 2000AD – Prog 1819

2000AD gives us another excellent standout cover with Dredd battling in a city in someones head!

That’s pretty much the story right there, but like Inception – we must go deeper!

We start off with a stand alone Judge Dredd story – Save Him, where we are still dealing with the aftermath of Chaos Day. This time with a Psi-Cadet who couldn’t deal with the death caused on that day!
It’s a good story and a novel way of Dredd sorting this situation out. I enjoy Psi-Stories and this is one of the good ones!

Savage all starts to go wrong for Bill, but maybe there is a way out. The tension has been building really high in this issue, with all parties involved not really trusting each other. Perhaps some of this story is a little too close to home!

Ampney Crusis Investigates deals with the aftermath of last weeks big explosion. There’s a lot of talking heads here, but it’s well wrapped up and seems to progress the story pretty well!

The Red Seas starts to get to the point after all this battling – there’s a revelation and an interesting reaction to keep us hanging on until next week!

Johnny Alpha seems to get a little bit of his pace back in this issue – it’s skirting a little too close to the story in Savage for my liking, but it is threatening to break out on it’s own. The battle with the norms does not look to be going well though!
