Review: Judge Dredd Megazine #379

Thoughts on this months edition of Judge Dredd Megazine

Judge Dredd‘s latest story arc concludes in Psicho, and although we get an ending in this Psi based story, there is a lot open for the future. Dredd’s combination with Psi’s is always good as they seem to do things by emotion more than he does. It’s possible that this story could have been stretched more, and I hope they do more with it in the future.

Blunt completes this story with another open ending. We get a closer look at what happened to Blunt when he was younger, and also an understanding of what happened to all the wildlife! I really hope we’re going to see more of Blunt in the near future – I really enjoy the story and the art is excellent!

Angelic – Home is the Hunter builds us up to the big battle we’ve been expecting. It’s a real Cursed Earth style western, with the disjointed families, as well as gun-play and hangings. This has been really good, and it’s strange rooting for the one you know is a bad guy!

Anderson – Judgement Call gives us an interesting read and maybe a beginning to the Psi-Judges in the Dredd universe. I’t a well told story with subtle differences with the main DreddU.

Coming Soon to Judge Dredd Megazine:

ANDERSON, PSI-DIVISION : DRAGON BLOOD : by ALAN GRANT & PAUL MARSHALL

JUDGE DREDD : THE RUBICON : by MICHAEL CARROLL & BEN WILLSHER

LAWLESS : LONG-RANGE WAR : by DAN ABNETT & PHIL WINSLADE

PLUS THE BLOODSOAKED FINALE TO ANGELIC AND MUCH MORE!
