Reviews: Batman & Dark Knight III: Master Race

Batman #24 & Dark Knight III: Master Race #9

My thoughts on two Bat-related digital comics from DC Comics

This feels like a wrap up issue, with Batman reflecting on things gone past, things yet to come and things that happened in another life. It’s a good look at Batman, who he is and how he operates though. There are some nice bits, and the dual storytelling was very interesting, especially with the different art styles. I expect the ending has already been spoiled for you, and I can see the status quo being effected by this all, so I wonder where it will all go!

The final part of the Dark Knight trilogy, gives us a reset button and also gives a nice callback to the All-Star Batman & Robin series. I like this ending and how everything cam together, some nice commentary too!
“We’re going to build a net..”
The character moments were really good with some nice pieces between Batman and Batwoman and Superman and his daughter – a fitting end!
