How could I not have clicked that IDW was releasing this in the build up to Halloween!
We get a little backstory here – why the rebel finds himself in the clutches of one of Darth Vader’s minions, I’m sure we’ll get more in later issues.
This story is told from a more rebel point of view. There is Tarkin and a look into his past. I like the hints towards Tarkin’s experiments that he oversaw. Tarkin in the EU (and the new canon) is shown to be of that ilk. The monster this week is well done – things aren’t as cut and dry as you would normally think, and this issue was more of a Frankenstein issue.
The ending was well done, with a nice twist for the rebel, next issue should be fun!
