Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2254

Out now from Rebellion, here are my thoughts on 2000 AD – Prog 2254:

  • UK and DIGITAL: 20 October £3.25
  • NORTH AMERICA: 24 November $26 (per pack)
  • DIAMOND: AUG211972
  • COVER: MARK HARRISON

Judge Dredd: The Hard Way by Rob Williams, Arthur Wyatt (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Some great action here – I love that the meme-infected robots had a stronger meme implanted in them, that works so well!

The Diaboliks: Arrivederci Roma by Gordon Rennie (w) Antonio Fuso (a) Jim Campbell (l)

It seems there is a plan of sorts, but I can see some infernal problems going on here too. The ending of the issue was well done.

Scarlet Traces: Storm Front by Ian Edginton (w) D’Israeli (a) Simon Bowland

The chaos of the space battle continues with new plans and attacks. I like the teamwork and the artwork of the battle going on in the background is excellent.

Pandora Perfect: Mystery Moon by Roger Langridge (w) Brett Parson (a) Simon Bowland

Good to see the team back together, just as we find out the secret of the moon. A fun issue with a musical number too.

The Out Book 2 by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

An interesting reaction here, and a possible tease for the future. This was a funny one, with some great art and use of the medium to tell the story.
