Judge Dredd: Desperadlands by Mike Carroll (w) William Simpson (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A well-told escape plan, with some interesting information – especially about the ransom. I like the action scenes here.
Durham Red: Served Cold by Alec Worley (w) Ben Willsher (a) Jim Campbell (l)
This was fun. With some classic lines, and someone comes to the rescue. I real Die Hard feel here. The art and information was well done too!
Sláine: Dragontamer by Pat Mills (w) Leonardo Manco (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The retaliation is one, and the dragon attack is relentless. I like the twist here, and things seem to be going (kind of) well for Slaine. For now.
Proteus Vex: The Shadow Chancellor by Mike Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A good cross of action and information here. Vex’s role is looking shaky, but this was well done.
Hershey: The Brutal by Rob Williams (w) Simon Fraser (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some interesting flashbacks here. I like the boxing and I wonder how this will move forward. Meanwhile, Hershey seems to have her own plan.
