Ultimate Comics Captain America is a passable mini series. The problem being is that I don’t feel that it is evenly distributed across the comics. It is good in some, but not so in others.
The build up is good – introducing the Vietnam era Cap, an Ultimate version of Nuke, then I feel that issues #2 and #3 are a let down.
There is still that aspect of suspense that keeps you reading through though.
Issue #4 improves on the others and does help save this flagging series – it was good, but could have been so much more!
I must admit though, I did enjoy the covers – #4 was my favourite though!
