My thoughts on two of this weeks digital comics from DC Comics and Vertigo
Mercury reveals a lot in this issue, but she doesn’t reveal it all which is quite interesting. What is more interesting is the reasons for not telling John what she has done – in fact she deliberately lied to him! We may be discovering more on Mercury’s nature and linage in future issues! There’s not a lot of John here, but there is his kind, which makes for an interesting read as we discover the true plans of the Djinn.
This may seem like a slow issue, but there is some well thought out parts which build up the whole story – I’m interested in the change of location for John and Mercury and what happens next between us, the Djinn, Swamp Thing, the Green and the Rot….
