Review: 2000 AD -Prog 2231

A new Dredd arc starts this week in 2000 AD – Prog 2231 from Rebellion.

Judge Dredd: Easy Money by Michael Carroll (w) Simon Fraser (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

We get to see the other side of those in Mega-City One. Usually it’s the poorer cits, now its those with money. A nice twist with the Judge and a good way to bring Dredd into it all.

Thistlebone: Poisoned Roots by TC Eglington (w) Simon Davies (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Twist after twist here. I like how this played out. A good twist and something extra at the end. This is going to be tense!

Tharg’s 3rillers: Intestinauts – Symbiotic Love Triangle by Arthur Wyatt (w) Pye Parr (a+l)

A rogue internal bot on the outside. A good middle part with a fun reveal too. I love the art in this series.

Future Shocks: Goodbye to Zane by John Tomlinson (w) Anna Morozova (a) Simon Bowland (l)

There’s a lot going on in this Future Shock. I did wonder where this was all leading, but the ending worked out well. Brain storage!

Feral & Foe II by Dan Abnett (w) Richard Elson (a) Jim Campbell (l)

Some good glossy vision of the past here. I like all their thoughts on it all. The art remains excellent and an interesting end to it all in this issue.
