Fund Me Friday: ARKS #3 Coming To Kickstarter

With issue #2 of this groundbreaking series already in the bag, issue #3 of ARKS is on its way to Kickstarter.

I reviewed issue #1 while the second issue was in funding and now I have both issues and I can’t wait for issue #3 to come.

10 years in the making, this is your chance to back the first science-faction comic ever made. Arks is the terrifying story of Lilith and Joseph - two planetary engineers (Arks), who are booted by bacteria onto a terraformed world orbiting a distant star. To their horror, they discover that the process may have accidentally turned the entire planet into a bomb. Do they try to survive in this brutal and cruel world or do they do the unthinkable and euthanize the species?

This is an incredible series and issue #2 does a lot of world-building (heh) and piles on the tension for our two main characters. Along with the various creatures in this world, there are some excellent, thrilling and sometimes scary scenes.

This is a new world and something to get into – there are catch-up options and will be different formats too. When reading it, I was in awe of the style and the storytelling.

There is some amazing art throughout. It has a unique style and the colouring is excellent. I like the way the action is shown and some incredible special effects.

ARKS #3 goes live on Kickstarter on 24th February 2022 and takes you to the midway point of this six-issue mini-series. You can sign up to be notified here. This link also will take you to the backer page when it goes live.
