Judge Dredd: The Citadel by John Wagner (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse
We get the reason why Dredd want The Citadel. It’s an interesting method and we get a good bit of the story. I wonder where this is leading…?
Kingmaker: Falls the Shadow by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Completing this arc with a big cliffhanger. There is some interesting aspects that I am sure will lead into the next arc. I like the theories, but I think things are going to go bad before they improve.
Intestinauts: The Bowel Impactors by Arthur Wyatt (w) Pye Parr (a+l)
Some proper toilet humour here. I like the return and something on the microscale to fight. The blockage was well told and I like the theme of the story. The ending builds up the story.
Fiends of the Eastern Front: 1963 by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
More horror than spies in this issue, but there are the code words! I like the reveal from the previous story arcs and the interesting end. I enjoy the art too.
Brink: Mercury Retrograde by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland
Some interesting sect issues here. I like the way it builds and I am drawn in. The investigation seems to be going well until the wrong thing is said….
