Polishing off the end of this story arc in an interesting way. Personally, I would like to see more of the early Magic Order – I’m sure there are some interesting stories to tell there.

Nevertheless, this issue wraps everything up well, with some deus ex machine at the end. That is the nature of magic and some interesting aspects to the ending. It’s a little twisty and turny, and possibly needs a second reading once you put it all through.

In this issue though, along with the good storytelling, there is some excellent scenes – the magic and action scenes are well played out and the demon is excellently done. The nature of this particular beast is well played and has some good points to the storytelling.

The younger members get time to shine, with some help, but this bodes well for the future of the order and some time-twisting aspects.

This was a good finish and a good done-in-one story arc overall.
