This was a pretty packed issue. The nature of Exarchon and his powers allows him to be on a couple of different fronts. It works well from a storytelling perspective, and I like the link between them. We also get Exarchon meeting up with Megatron for the first time, which goes as well as you would expect.
The rest of the issue is well done, with the Autobots and Decepticons realising that they will have to work together to defeat this threat. It’s a shaky alliance, and I can see that there are going to be some disagreements.
We also delve into a little of the origin of Exarchon. The information was a little vague, but there was a word used that made me wonder about this threat to Cybertron outside of their known galaxy.
In all this was a good issue, with some threats to characters we know and love – I like seeing Onslaught, and wonder when we are going to see Bruticus?
The art continues to be excellent too, with some good action shots with the scenes with Cyclonus.
